At Project Emancipation NOW, community healing is at the forefront of what we’re working together towards. Our programs and activities are designed to be a catalyst that helps returning community members reach their goals and fulfill their potential during and after incarceration. Project Emancipation Now is an evolving comprehensive approach to community building through Gang Emancipation, Violence Interruption, Self-Transformation, Advanced Mentorship, and Victim/Community Impact Services.

Here at Project Emancipation NOW, we are driven by a single goal; to heal our community from the systemic damages of incarceration. We provide mediators with street and prison credibility to bring youth out of gangs, provide mentor ship, as well as violence interruption in schools and correctional institutions. We strive to facilitate healthy and productive relationships through victim awareness,, trauma based , wrap around re-entry services and resources to end recidivism.

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for healing our community. Victim Awareness places a face on the real scope of crime and violence, and our trained mentors work to build bridges between offenders and their victims to restore humanity and strengthen moral fiber in our community.
